Megan Fox has been making a lot of noise over her split with husband Brian Austin Green. It is rumoured that the Transformers actress is dating Machine Gun Kelly. However, amid all the reports, one of her old interviews is going viral. Fans are backlashing Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg over their ‘alleged’ ill-treatment with the then 15-year-old actress. However, Megan is now setting the records straight.

It all happened when Megan’s interview with Jimmy Kimmel from 2009 went viral. Talking about her experience, the actress was heard sharing, “I had just turned 15 and I was an extra in Bad Boys II. They were shooting this club scene and they brought me in and I was wearing a stars and stripes bikini and a red cowboy hat and six-inch heels.”

Megan Fox continued, “He approved it and they said, ‘Michael, she’s 15 so you can’t sit her at the bar and she can’t have a drink in her hand.’ So his solution to that problem was to then have me dancing underneath a waterfall getting soaking wet.”

While Megan Fox revealed it all in good faith, fans have now been backlashing Michael Bay. They have slammed him for ill-treatment and allegedly ‘sexualizing’ a 15-year-old.

Now, the actress has come out in the open. Megan took to her Instagram and shared a clarification post. While she appreciated fans supporting her so much, she ended the unnecessary backlash.

“I was around 15 or 16 years old when I was an extra in Bad Boys II. There are multiple interviews where I shared the anecdote of being chosen for the scene and the conversations that took place surrounding it. It’s important to note however that when I auditioned for Transformers I was 19 or 20,” Megan Fox began.

She clearly mentioned, “When it comes to my direct experiences with Michael, and Steven for that matter, I was never assaulted or preyed upon in what I felt was a sexual manner”

However, what also caught eyeballs is Megan’s indirect dig at people who deserve to be called out. “There are many names that deserve to be going viral in cancel culture right now.”
