Singer Miley Cyrus has never been one to shy away from sharing intimate details about her life and has confessed that she began exploring her s3xuality at a very young age

Miley Cyrus has made quite a few confessions about her s3xuality over the years and admits she began

She once told Variety: “My whole life, I didn’t understand my own gender and my own s3xuality […] My eyes started opening in the fifth or sixth grade. My first relationship in my life was with a chick.”

“I always hated the word ‘bis3xual’ because that’s even putting me in a box. I don’t ever think about someone being a boy or someone being a girl.” Cyrus then recalled the time she visited an LGBTQ+ centre in L.A.

Miley began questioning her s3xuality from an early age

“I saw one human in particular who didn’t identify as male or female. Looking at them, they were both beautiful and s3xy and tough, but vulnerable and feminine but masculine, and I related to that person more than I related to anyone in my life.”

Cyrus was cast as Disney icon Hannah Montana when she was 11-years-old, and has confessed that it was around that time that she began to explore her s3xuality. In the Variety interview, Miley confessed that her struggles were fuelled by being part of a religious Southern family.

The actress doesn’t like being “put in a box”

She told the publication that while she was on The Voice “a young girl started crying when she left” because Miley was “the reason she came out”. Cyrus then said that “her mom started crying” and told her “she was sorry about the way she treated Miley when she was her age” and experiencing the coming out process.

The actress then said that Trish had “never understood her until she saw the girl who couldn’t be herself”. Miley has gone on to become a very s3x positive figure in Hollywood and has previously shared intimate details about her s3x life.

On the Call Her Daddy podcast, Cyrus said that she “doesn’t f*** with foreplay” and doesn’t have time to “sit around”. Miley admitted that she just “wants to get this s*** done” and if she’s in the mood, she “doesn’t really need lube”.
