One of America’s most popular female rappers has joined the ranks of celebrities who have fallen victim to the bizarre trend of throwing objects at artists performing on stage.

During her last concert, Cardi B was doused with a drink by one of the attendees. However, the star did not remain idle. She treated the perpetrator to a string of curses and then threw the microphone at him.

Recently, an astonishingly absurd trend has become more and more popular among concertgoers, which involves throwing various objects at artists performing on stage. The number of victims of this idiotic fashion is constantly growing.

In June, Bebe Rexha was hit in the eye by a phone call, forcing her to stop the concert and go to the hospital, where she received stitches. Kelsea Ballerini, on the other hand, was hit in the face with a bracelet.

There was also an incident involving Pink, at which one of the fans threw a bundle of… the ashes of his own mother. “I don’t know what to think about it,” the singer said at the time, visibly dismayed.

Another celebrity who has suffered as a result of this thoughtless behavior is Cardi B. The incident occurred during her performance at the exclusive Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. When the Grammy Award winner performed the hit “Bodak Yellow”, one of the contestants of the music show poured a drink on her.

Known for her explosive temper, the rapper didn’t leave it unanswered. First, she harshly insulted the perpetrator, and then she threw a microphone at him. The security guards immediately started chasing the offender. It is not yet known whether he has been captured. Cardi B’s representatives have not publicly commented on the case.

After the video presenting the whole incident went viral, the artist’s fans praised her in numerous social media posts for what they considered to be an adequate response to the stupidity.

“She did what was the right thing to do,” one Twitter user said. “Well done to Cardi B! Some people need to be taught elementary culture,” echoed another. “People who come to concerts just to throw things at performers as a joke are just disgusting. I hope that this energy will come back to them soon,” said another netizen.

The ridiculous trend was recently commented on by Adele, who fortunately has not been thrown anything at her yet. During a concert in July as part of her Las Vegas residency, the British singer warned her fans that she would not tolerate such antics.

“Have you noticed that people are forgetting about f*cking etiquette lately and throwing some sh*t on stage? Stop throwing things at artists! I dare you. Try to throw something at me and I’ll kill you,” said the “Easy On Me” hitmaker.
