Lady Gaga has recently opened up on her “healing” practice, which makes her feel good from the “inside and out” after being insecure as a teenager.

The music star has never been afraid to open up on her struggles in the past, as she’s previously opened up about her struggle with anxiety and depression.

Lady Gaga reveals ‘healing technique’ from feeling insecure

The Pokerface singer revealed that she simply uses make-up to feel good from the “inside and out” in a recent interview with E! News.

“The two things that I like about makeup in my self-care routine is that I know it’s an extension of my skincare from the morning.”

“The second thing is that it gives me an extra boost of confidence. I feel I’m able to brave whatever is coming my way because I’ve really taken time for myself,” the star continued.

However, make-up has a deeper meaning for Gaga, as she said it helped her ‘find her voice’, and had the power to “transform who she was.” The star said it had been a “healing practice” since she was an “incredibly insecure teenager”.

“I realized that I had more of an ability to speak up for myself,” she pointed out. “And it had more to do with how I felt and not how I looked. I always say that because I think everybody’s makeup style is unique to them,” she told the publication.

The star now has her own make-up brand, Haus Labs by Lady Gaga, which is cruelty-free, vegan, and kind to the planet.
