Pop queen Lady Gaga lives a daring life including plenty of high profile relationships. Here, we look at her dating timeline from her time in the spotlight, which full of broken hearts and rumors

Bad Romance singer Lady Gaga has years of heartbreak, love songs, and relationships under her belt. There are even rumors that she had a fling with Bradley Cooper.

While the general public latched onto that idea, they pair did not date. Despite a spicy Oscar’s performance and an on screen romance, the two kept their relationship professional. Nonetheless, the pop star has had a long timeline of legitimate lovers.

The tone of Gaga’s love life was set early on in her career. As she began to rise to fame, she met Luc Carl, a bartender and musician. He became her muse for early music, but nothing everything lasts forever. Despite believing that she ‘loved’ him, the relationship ended after only a couple of years.

She told Rolling Stone: “That relationship really shaped me. I sort of resolved that if you can’t have the guy of your dreams, there are other ways to give love.”

Taylor Kinney proposed to Lady Gaga, but the relationship didn’t last

Gaga and Taylor Kinney fell for each other through a love story cliche. Taylor played her love interest in her You and I music video. From there, their relationship flourished into something that transcended the screen. It seemed that the artistic pair truly understood each other; Gaga even said Taylor would ‘cry’ when she sang on stage.

Their emotional connection was obvious and Taylor even proposed to her on Valentine’s Day in 2015. Unfortunately, the two had to call it quits due to being in different stage of life. In fact, when they first ended, Gaga referred to it as a ‘break’ in a statement rather than a full breakup. The two never found their way back to each other.

She said: “We are both ambitious artists, hoping to work through long-distance and complicated schedules to continue the simple love we have always shared. Please root us on. We’re just like everybody else and we really love each other.”

The engagement eventually was called off

In 2017, Gaga went public with another relationship that would turn into yet another engagement. They were first seen together at the Super Bowl that year when Gaga landed the halftime show gig. It didn’t take long for her to confess her love, either. Later that year, she proclaimed it at her Citi Field show in New York City.

They would periodically be spotted together in traditional high profile relationship style. In early 2019, though, the relationship took a nose dive. Rumors spread that the engagement had been called off, but Gaga didn’t address it until later that year. She said during a performance: “So, last time I sang this song, I had a ring on my finger.”

Lady Gaga and Michael Polansky could be endgame

Between Christian and Michael Polanksy, Gaga had a brief fling with Daniel Horton. However, it ended quickly and just filled part of the gap between two of her most major relationships.

To ring in the new year, Gaga kissed Michael in Las Vegas. From then on, they became an it-couple. Gaga was fairly open about her relationship with Michael, talking about him in interviews. They quarantined with each other throughout the COVID-19 pandemic which seemingly proved their relationship to be strong.

As the pandemic restrictions lifted, they made some public appearance together. Overall, though, they’ve kept everything pretty private. As far as the public knows, the pair are still happily together.
