‘What’s wrong with you?!’: Jennifer Aniston reveals pal Adam Sandler teases her about her bad boyfriend choices as she makes glamorous late night TV appearance

Jennifer Aniston revealed that Adam Sandler over the years has teased her about boyfriend choices as she promoted their latest movie on Tuesday on a talk show.

The 54-year-old actress looked glamorous in a figure-hugging black dress for her appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote Murder Mystery 2 that co-stars Adam, 56.

Jennifer shared that she met Adam at Jerry’s Famous Deli on Ventura Boulevard when we they were 20 and 22.

Jimmy, 48, asked if they had given each other advice over the years.

‘Well, I, if I get anything from him, it’s ”What are you doing?” Usually based on someone I’m dating,’ Jennifer said imitating the actor. ‘What are you doing? What’s wrong with you?’

‘But I’ve very much love to take care of him. He’s so concerned with taking care of everybody else, which he really does but he doesn’t take care of himself,’ she added.

‘I’m sorry to call you out on national television, Adam, but you have to know this. I have a little arsenal of herbs in my trailer and I make him smoothies when I can and give him all sorts of Chinese herbs when he is exhausted. I’m like the mobile pharmacy. Yeah, I’m the set medic.’

Jennifer said that it was a ‘big honor’ to be on hand this past weekend when Adam received the Mark Twain Prize in Washington, D.C. at the Kennedy Center Honors.

‘It was more emotional than I expected, because I hadn’t been to the Kennedy Center before,’ Jennifer said. ‘So that was my first time and here we are honoring. The Sandman At the Kennedy Center for the Mark Twain Award.’

Jimmy commented that Adam even dressed up for the occasion and wore a suit.

‘He kind of looks like he’s just playing dress up,’ Jennifer said. ‘He kind of just seems very uncomfortable.’

Jennifer described a dinner that she went to in Italy with Adam and his wife Jackie.

‘Jackie looked beautiful in an eyelet dress,’ Jennifer said. ‘Her hair was done and he shows up in basketball shorts. Satin basketball shorts with white piping and Nike high tops. And turquoise velour Izod that had no relationship.’

Jennifer said that Vogue made Adam a style icon.

‘Now he’s like Vogue said I was amazing like this,’ Jennifer said. ‘So thanks Vogue.’

Jimmy asked her about her new movie Murder Mystery 2. Jennifer said there was a lot of action and she had an incredible stunt double named Kelly.

‘She repelled up the actual Eiffel Tower side,’ Jennifer said.

Jimmy played a clip from the movie.

Jimmy pointed out that the two of them had first met in the building when they both did Saturday Night Live.

‘Sting was our musical guest,’ Jennifer said. ‘I was so out of my league.’

Jimmy pulled out a picture of Jennifer on the show with Maya Rudolph during a country music skit.

Jimmy also said he almost cried when Jennifer sang a Sondheim song on The Morning Show.

‘Billy Crudup and I had to go get singing lessons with this man named Roger Love, who is a singing teacher, and I fell in love with it,’ Jennifer said. ‘

‘We both had so much fun. We had like three lessons before we sang this and then we recorded it and it was in Capitol Records, which felt like rock stars, well not really rock stars. And then a friend of mine actually gifted me 10 singing lessons with Roger Love, because I loved it so much. ‘

Jennifer said she hadn’t taken them yet but thought it was a great gift.

Jennifer also participated in a silly game with Jimmy where they each took turns sticking their hands in a box and trying to guess what was inside.

‘I can’t believe you said yes to this,’ Jimmy said. ‘This is scary.’

Jennifer ended up putting her hands on pieces of fried chicken, a pile of laundry lint and a bunny puppet surrounded by marshmallow peeps.
