POP superstar Adele is splashing out £42million for Hollywood big-hitter Sylvester Stallone’s Beverly Hills mansion, it was reported yesterday.

She apparently made the move after the Rambo and Rocky star, 75, almost halved his original asking price from £81million.

This will be Adele’s latest addition to her growing property portfolio, which already features homes valued at about £34.7million in London and LA.

The 33-year-old singer, who is dating sports agent boyfriend Rich Paul, 40, is said to be worth £140million thanks to her record sales and sell-out tour dates.

Her new 18,587sq ft gated and guarded pad, which sits in 3.5 acres of land, boasts eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms.

Stallone — who has moved to Florida — had struggled to sell the LA mansion which he bought in the 1990s, and had already slashed the price to £63million in May.

The main house, built in 1994, has six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, including a master suite, three en-suite bedrooms and two bedrooms for staff.

The opulent master suite includes a sauna, steam room, and an office with a terrace.

One room contains a giant statue of Sly’s boxing character Rocky. It cost him £300,000 and was created as a back-up for the one used in 1982 film Rocky III.

It also features a model of Rambo firing a bow and arrow.

The complex has a two-storey guest house with two en-suite bedrooms and full chef’s kitchen. The main building includes a formal living room — which features views to the famous Rodeo Drive — a cinema, home gym and cigar room with air filtration.

Outside there is a huge patio with an infinity pool, spa, and even a putting green. There is also an air-conditioned eight-car garage and an art studio.

The gated community it sits in is home to Hollywood royalty Denzel Washington, 67, and comedian Eddie Murphy, 60.

Adele already owns a lavish Kensington mews home — which is two houses joined together — and her current sprawling Beverly Hills pad, where she lives with son Angelo, nine.

She and charity boss ex-husband Simon Konecki, 47, reached a divorce settlement last January, two years after they split.

They opted to use mediation to work out the details of how their properties and other finances would be split up.

The pair share custody of their son, but “financial, sales or other confidential business information” regarding the divorce proceedings were not made public.

Tottenham-born Adele’s finances show the vast wealth she has amassed during her time in the spotlight — which she has wisely invested in buying homes.

Her first foray into property was the stunning Lock House mansion in West Sussex, which has 84.7 acres of land.

She lived in the home in 2012 when her career began to skyrocket after the success of her first album, 21.

Back in 2012 she bought her mews house in Kensington, West London, for £5.65million, before also buying the house next door for £5.38million in order to knock the two into one to give her some extra space.

The mews house includes a display cabinet in which her Oscar for the 2012 James Bond movie theme Skyfall is housed.

She has also reportedly bought two homes in LA and sprawling properties in Hove, East Sussex, London and Malibu, while splashing out on a house for her mum.

Rocky star Sly has also been keeping his real estate portfolio full, as last month he reportedly purchased an estate in Palm Beach, Florida, for £26million.

The Sun has approached Adele for comment.
