By now, you’ve seen Jason Kelce’s appearance at the Buffalo Bills playoff game. The Eagles star was in attendance to cheer on his brother Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs, but Jason is the one who went viral for his antics. After Travis scored a touchdown, Jason took off his shirt and gave an epic scream as he jumped out of the luxury suite and into the crowd. He even lifted a young Taylor Swift fan so she could show a sign to Taylor, who was watching the game with Jason, his wife Kylie, Jason and Travis’s parents, and a host of friends and family.

Jason and Travis recounted the event on their weekly New Heights podcast. Jason explained that the game was a welcome break after the conclusion of his stressful season. He said, “We just got done, obviously, with a very grueling season in Philadelphia, both mentally and physically…This was an opportunity to go someplace and just forget about that. To just have fun and root on your brother.”

Travis recounted the events as “pure pandemonium,” but it was all part of Jason’s plans. Jason, who opted for sturdy Timberland boots instead of his typical flip-flops for the snowy and cold game, said, “I feel like taking your shirt off is like a Buffalo Bills thing, and I wanted the full experience.

Travis pointed out: “There were not enough cameras on the suite where you could see Kylie. I wanted to see her reaction to all of this so bad.”

Jason explained, “I don’t think she was happy about, to be honest with you. I’m not going to lie, I gave Kylie a heads up. The moment we got in the suite, I said, ‘I’m taking my shirt off and jumping out of that suite.’ She said, ‘Jason, don’t you dare.'”

Jason replied, “Just letting you know, I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this. [Kylie] was already telling me to be on your best behavior because we’re meeting Taylor…but this is part of the Jason Kelce charm.”

Of course, Kylie proved to have a sense of humor about Jason’s behavior. When New Heights shared the clip on their Instagram feed, Kylie, who revealed on an earlier podcast episode that she wanted a cat, but Jason said no, commented, “‘I’m not asking for permission, I’m doing this.’ – the exact quote I will say when I’m grabbing the keys to go get a cat.”

Travis also revealed that Taylor found the whole scene entertaining too: “Well, Tay said she absolutely loved you.”
