Adam Sandler is coming to town this weekend, and Wichita can still get tickets
Adam Sandler is on a comedy tour, and he’s bringing it on Sunday to Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena. Don’t have a ticket yet? Some are still available.
Otherwise, Wichita’s entertainment calendar this weekend and into next week is filled with lots of holiday fun — and the Chicken N Pickle ice skating rink is open.
Here’s a list of some fun things to do:
7:30 p.m. Sunday, Intrust Bank Arena, 500 E. Waterman
It’s not too late to get tickets to see superstar comedian and actor Adam Sandler – star of movies such as “Happy Gilmore” and “Uncut Gems” – at Wichita’s Intrust Bank Arena. Sandler is bringing “The I Missed You Tour” to the venue on Sunday. The show starts at 7:30 p.m., and it’s restricted to ages 16 and over. Tickets range from $49 to $170 and are available at www.selectaseat.com, by phone at 316-755-7328 or in person at the Select-A-Seat Box Office at INTRUST Bank Arena.
Free holiday concert
7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Century II Convention Hall, 225 W. Douglas
The annual Spirit of the Season holiday concert at Century II — a free one-hour concert offered every holiday season by the Wichita Symphony Orchestra — happens at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Century II’s Convention Hall. The show will feature favorite Christmas carols and holiday hits, and although all advance tickets have been claimed, people without tickets will be admitted for remaining seats starting at 7:20 p.m. Organizers say they’ve never turned anyone away. People are asked to bring canned food items for donation to the Kansas Food Bank or cash donations for the symphony’s education programs.
