Denzel Dumfries spoke about his clash with Harry Kane.
Denzel Dumfries had a surprising reaction when asked about England’s controversial penalty decision.
England beat the Netherlands 2-1 on Wednesday to set up a final showdown against for Spain in Berlin on Sunday.
Xavi Simons opened the scoring with a thunderous strike from long range before the Three Lions levelled proceedings.
Harry Kane scored from the spot to cancel out Simons’ goal.
He won the penalty following a collision with Dumfries, who attempted to block the forward’s shot but instead struck him on the foot.
German official Felix Zwayer reviewed the incident on VAR before awarding England a penalty, which was debated fiercely by Gary Neville and Ian Wright.
Second-half substitute Ollie Watkins grabbed his side’s winner in the 90th minute and revealed his scarily accurate prediction after the result.
Dumfries also spoke to the media following the Euros semi-final clash and shared his thoughts on his penalty incident with Kane.
He said he didn’t do it on ‘purpose’ and takes all ‘responsibility’ for the moment.
“I take all responsibility for the penalty moment,” he said. “I didn’t do it on purpose. I just wanted to block the shot.”

Virgil van Dijk expressed his pain at the Netherlands’ crushing defeat.
“I have no words. To concede so late, that is terrible,” he explained. “This hurts so much.
“I have to stand here, but I don’t even know what to say. This hurts so much.
“The referee ran back inside straight after the FT whistle, that says a lot.”
England progress to the next round of the tournament at the expense of the Dutch as Gareth Southgate’s team reach their second Euros final in a row.
