NBA – “I don’t even understand”:

A Laker’s cash confession on LeBron’s metamorphosis

He may be approaching forty, but LeBron James proved that he still had it under his belt against the Pelicans this Thursday.

His performance, which qualified the Lakers for the final of the In-Season Tournament, shocked one of his teammates.

At his age, playing an extra regular season game shouldn’t necessarily be recommended. LeBron James, however, did everything to add an 83rd meeting to his calendar.

Opposed this Thursday to the Pelicans for a place in the final of the In-Season Tournament, he quite simply achieved the most expeditious performance of his career, accumulating a whopping 30 points in less than… 23 minutes:

D’Angelo Russell captivated by LeBron James

Obviously determined to add a new trophy to his collection, LeBron wasted no time this Thursday to dispose of New Orleans.

He has once again managed to raise his level of play at the best of times, he who will celebrate his 39th birthday at the end of December.

Enough to leave the entire NBA community stunned, just like his teammates. The proof with D’Angelo Russell’s reaction:

D’Angelo Russell on playing alongside LeBron James in higher-stakes games: “It’s impressive to watch him step up a gear. In these matches, he is able to shoot better, be faster and not get tired. I don’t even understand.”

It is indeed difficult to determine exactly the recipe that still allows LBJ to transcend himself in this way.

D-Lo and his partners are unlikely to complain about it, however. After all, it seems that this kind of performance from their leader is always essential to allow them to win these big matches. All they have to do is cross their fingers that he does it again this Saturday, against the Pacers, and thus allows them to get their hands on the $500,000 jackpot at stake during the In-Season Tournament.

Returning to the Lakers last February, D’Angelo Russell has apparently still not gotten used to the exploits of LeBron James and his unfailing longevity. To see if the King will still rise to the occasion to overcome Indiana.
