NBA – An imminent trade to the Lakers!
The last major update: “They want…
Even if the Lakers are doing better, a trade during the season remains a possibility according to some insiders.
But is it really necessary? Let’s say that the front office has not yet decided according to Marc Stein. We take stock of the latest information.
With a record of 8-6, including 5 victories in the last 6 games, the Lakers are doing better in the West.
They can also thank LeBron James, irresistible against the Rockets on Sunday evening.
Darvin Ham’s men are making progress, even if we will have to wait a few more weeks to find a fully healthy squad. At least if no one else joins the infirmary by then.
This is also the big issue of the Lakers season: injuries.
With Anthony Davis sometimes embarrassed, a LeBron James close to 39 years old and already a few absent, the Angelinos’ medical staff is expected to turn the corner.
We remind you that Jarred Vanderbilt and Gabe Vincent are out at this time. This is why the front office is thinking about a trade, but this series is far from over.
The Lakers ready to bet on their roster?
Internally, Rob Pelinka has already thought about recruiting a few targets to improve the roster.
The Bulls, in distress in the East, could be sellers with several interesting players, like Zach LaVine, DeMar DeRozan and obviously Alex Caruso.
But according to Marc Stein, it is possible that the Purple and Gold… will not try anything.

Philadelphia’s interest in LaVine has been exaggerated, while I was told that the Lakers’ reported interest at this point is described as TBD.
It was explained to me that the Lakers, as of today, want to focus on internal improvement in the hopes that the return of Vanderbilt and Vincent will give them a significant boost.
The Lakers therefore trust the current squad and the decisions of the summer.
Remember that Vanderbilt extended for 4 years, while Vincent was signed for 3 seasons after a good period with the Heat. Rob Pelinka therefore remains convinced that this roster can fight for the title… provided it is 100% obviously.
A trade for the Lakers? If the front office surveys the market, the priority remains to trust the players already present.
Rob Pelinka is confident about his choices, even if injuries can change things. We’ll probably have to wait until February to see anything.
