Once again in great form on the Kings floor, LeBron James was however unable to prevent the Lakers’ setback after overtime this Sunday (127-132). A frustrating result that he tried to explain in a post-match press conference.
20 years earlier, to the day, he went to Sacramento to play his very first NBA game. This Sunday, LeBron James once again made a stopover in Northern California, but this time to take part in his 1,424th career regular season game. The wink of destiny did not stop there, since he almost signed the best stats line than during his first arrival:

LeBron James’ regrets after the loss to the Kings
Still as formidable as he approaches his 39th birthday, LeBron however brought back the same result from Sacramento as 20 years ago. However, this time, it was after extra time that his team lost (127-132). An inevitably painful setback for him, who nevertheless did everything to avoid it with 16 points scored between the 4th quarter and overtime. Questioned afterwards, he offered a fairly simple explanation:
Darvin Ham admits he needs to work on his rotations:
"My rotation, we gotta really dig into that and really figure it out. … Buckling down on our rotation, I'll start there. That's the main thing that on my mind."

We executed our systems well. We managed to create some good shots. But these important shots that we didn’t manage to score, they took them.
Indeed, if he was skillful in the clutch (7/9 shooting), he cannot really say the same about his teammates (10/24).
Conversely, the Kings showed composure and realism, particularly in overtime (5/9 on shots, 3/7 on 3 points). A scenario that LBJ can only regret, used for 39 minutes by his coach, Darvin Ham. The latter did not seek to reject his share of responsibility after the fact:
Darvin Ham admits that he needs to work on his rotations: “My rotations, we’re going to have to really look at that and find the solution. We’ll start with that. This is the thing that is occupying my mind right now. »
Author of another heroic end to the match on the Kings floor, LeBron James however suffered from the clumsiness of his partners during money time. The kind of hitch he will seek to avoid this Monday, during the back-to-back against the Magic.
