Among the best point guards in NBA history is Chris Paul. Currently ranked third on the NBA’s all-time assists list, he is a twelve-time All-Star. Have you ever wondered how an NBA great like Paul survives, given his skill on the court? So stop wondering.
Chris Paul’s $7.2 million Houston property is featured in this story.
Paul joined James Harden on the Houston Rockets after playing brilliantly for the New Orleans Hornets and Los Angeles Clippers but without a championship to show for it. Even though the Rockets advanced to the Western Conference Finals twice in a row, Paul was never able to win an NBA championship or even make it to the Finals.
Paul and his wife spent approximately $6.9 million on a 10,000 square foot villa that Paul purchased in 2018 while he was a player for the Rockets. But Paul’s tenure in H-Town came to an end when the Rockets traded him to the Oklahoma City Thunder following the 2018–19 campaign.
As a result, he listed the same house for $8.3 million when he first put it on the market. In the end, the Paul family agreed to a $7.2 million transaction. Which is fortunate because he was later traded to the Phoenix Suns, who traded Paul to the Washington Wizards in June 2023 after re-signing him for one season.
Here are some images of Chris Paul’s previous $7.2 million Houston estate.
CP3 has no trouble buying expensive residences in the past. He paid $8.5 million for the 12,000 square foot property in 2012, which he later sold for $8.7 million, from the renowned singer Avril Lavigne. In addition, Paul paid $6.36 million for a property in The Woodlands and $9 million for a mansion in Calabasas. He then sold both properties for $11.05 million and $5.85 million, respectively.
Recently, CP3 paid an astounding $11.1 million to purchase a brand-new mansion in the Encino neighborhood of Los Angeles. The impact of the move to Washington on Paul Crawley’s wife Jada Crawley and their children is unknown, though.
It should come as no surprise that CP3, one of the best players in NBA history, can afford to lead a luxurious lifestyle. The prospective Hall of Famer is estimated to be worth $160 million.
All the details we know about Chris Paul’s previous $7.2 million Houston property are as follows, though.
