Typically, 50 Cent reserves his sharpest critiques for those who criticize him, yet his response to Rick Ross’ disparaging comments about the “In Da Club” rapper exhibited a surprising level of civility.

Ross, currently on tour in support of “Port of Miami 2,” his 2019 album and sequel to his 2006 debut, found himself addressing questions about a potential collaboration with 50 Cent during an interview on Los Angeles station 92.3’s “Big Boy’s Neighborhood.”

The two rappers have maintained a longstanding feud since 2008 when 50 Cent and Fat Joe were still embroiled in their own conflict. Although Joe and 50 have since reconciled, the tension between 50 Cent and Ross persisted.

In the interview, the radio host asked Ross if he would consider working with 50 Cent again, given their history. Ross, known for his business acumen, responded diplomatically, stating that he would have considered it if 50 Cent still held the same value he once did. However, according to Ross, the current state of 50 Cent doesn’t align with the artist he used to be, without intending any humor in his assessment.
