Jason and Travis Kelce are two of the most popular figures in the world of football right now, but their popularity doesn’t stop there, as they host their own podcast called “New Heights” where they discuss a wide variety of topics. And in their latest episode, the two brothers shared a fairly controversial Christmas opinion.
Considering how Travis is still playing in the NFL with the Kansas City Chiefs and Jason only recently retired after the 2023 campaign, football is the main topic of discussion between these two on their podcast. However, they aren’t afraid to delve into other topics either.
When a caller asked the duo a question about when Christmas decorations go up, the Kelce brothers decided to set their stance on the subject. The good news for the both of them is that they agreed Christmas decorations should go up after Thanksgiving, but the problem is that fans viewed that as a fairly controversial claim.
“I think Thanksgiving has always been the date,” Jason replied when asked about the proper date to put up Christmas decorations.
“In the Kelce household, Thanksgiving was the day,” Travis added on.

While it’s understandable that there’s a lot of excitement surrounding Christmas, it often results in Thanksgiving getting overlooked. The Kelce’s refused to let that happen, as they would put decorations up for Christmas on Thanksgiving to ensure that both holidays are given the proper respect that they deserve.
