With their Eras tour on hiatus until the end of 2024, one wonders what Taylor Swift will be enough to keep you busy. Sure, there’s a red carpet event every now and then (for example, the London premiere of Renaissance: A Film by Beyoncé)as well as whatever role she plays in the war between her publicist and her anonymous Instagram account Deuxmoi about Swift’s past relationships, but how much time does this stuff have? The kill? Instead, NFL says great Matt LaFleurThe billionaire musician will settle in from the stands at Lambeau Field on Sunday, where she’ll be cheering on her boyfriend/Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce continues as his team plays the Green Bay Packers.

Bookmakers and oddsmakers had already predicted a Chiefs victory over the Packers, even before LaFleur’s post-practice interview on Friday. When the Packers head coach was asked if Swift was expected to travel to Wisconsin to play in Sunday’s game, LaFleur replied, “That’s what I heard,” WBAY reports.

If the magic Swift has cast on previous games continues into this game, this news could spell doom for LaFleur’s underdog team. As analysts, gambling experts and the man himself have acknowledged, Kelce’s playing skills improve significantly when Swift is in the stands, so much so that they try to keep their game plans secret to avoid skewing the odds.

But even if LaFleur had declined to comment, the cat might already be out of the bag. An Instagram account dedicated to tracking the flight paths of Swift’s private planes claims she arrived in Kansas City on Friday. Accordingly Taylorswiftjets (as the report is called), the KC stop was the final leg of a trip that began in London shortly after Swift posed for the cameras Beyonce’s Film premiere.

If true, Friday marked Swift’s second arrival in Kansas City this week, following a flight from São Paulo (with a brief stop in Florida) on Monday. Swift and Kelce have “the next few months completely planned,” an unnamed source reportedly said of the couple this week. “They try to be as much like a normal couple as possible.”

It’s a nice dream if it’s true, but probably an impossible one. How many normal couples fly back and forth from London to Kansas City on a private jet, followed by a social media account with 44.9 million followers? How many starting pairings come up with the topic at a pre-game press conference with an experienced coach? And how many regular couples have representatives that Vanity Fair contacted for this story (and who, in this case, did not respond at the time of publication)?

In other words, good for Swift and Kelce for trying to live life like you or I! The grass is always greener, I suppose. But given the scrutiny the two face (this point included), how realistic can the goal even be?
