Patrick Mahomes’ father, Patrick Mahomes Sr., has apparently had his fill of Brittany Mahomes and Taylor Swift and is hoping to avoid them on Sunday.
The Chiefs will play the Ravens in Baltimore in the AFC Title Game following a 27-24 win over the Buffalo Bills last weekend. Patrick Sr. shared a suite with his son’s wife, Brittany, as well as Taylor Swift and others for that game.
But it doesn’t appear that he’s keen on doing so again for whatever reason.
The former MLB star was speaking on WFAN Radio when he was asked about the possibility of joining them in a box for the upcoming game. “I hope not,” he replied.
There was a lot going on in that suite on Sunday. Apart from Brittany and Taylor’s cheers, Jason Kelce made quite the scene. It seems like it was simply too much for the elder Mahomes.
Still, he had very good things to say about Swift, who he described as “down to earth.”
“I actually walked up and introduced myself to her, and she said she knew who I was because she had watched the Quarterback series,” he said.
“Every time I’ve hung out with her, she just acts like a normal person.”
