Taylor Swift has faced a lot of backlash for being shown so much during games ever since she started dating Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. NFL fan’s anger should really be directed at the network that continuously finds her suite to show her celebrating a play any chance they get.

On Sunday, fans of the singer-songwriter started fighting back by noting the warm response to Eminem’s presence at Sunday’s game between the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Rams.

Swifties spoke on it while others fired back:

Taylor Swift is the biggest artist in the world right now. She gets blamed for everything just sitting in a private suite with no control over the camera choices. Pretty obvious double standard. Don’t be stupid.

You obviously didn’t get my sarcasm. I know who Eminem is. I know he’s in his home town. I love Eminem. But none of that matters. The point is the double standard. It’s ok for Eminem to be shown. But not Travis Kelce’s GF who happens to be Taylor Swift. The most popular star ATM.

Eminem was even seen engaging the Ford Field crowd to cheer louder for the Lions. His reception at the game was shared online as Swift fans couldn’t believe NFL followers who complain every time they see clips of Taylor Swift watching Kansas City Chiefs games.

In the end, it is all a moot point since Eminem is actually from the city, cheered on the team for years, and not just a guy dating a person on the team.

The Lions ended up defeating the Rams and won their first playoff game in 32 years.

Aside from getting their breakthrough playoff victory during the Dan Campbell era, Eminem will have a chance to watch his beloved team host another postseason game as the Lions will face the Tampa Bay Bucs at Ford Field.
