The WNBA playoffs kick off on Sunday for the Indiana Fever, and the team has taken a moment to highlight the contributions of fan favorite Lexie Hull.

The Fever face the Connecticut Sun, whom they are 1-3 against this season. However, Indiana has been one of the hottest teams in the league over the past month, and the guard has played a crucial role in that success.

Often overshadowed by stars Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, Hull has stepped into the starting lineup during key moments and delivered when it mattered most. Her remarkable improvement in 3-point shooting has provided a vital offensive boost for the Fever.

After finishing last season shooting just 21.7% from beyond the arc, Hull has transformed her game this year, shooting an impressive 47.1%, which ranks second in the WNBA. Her consistency has been a game-changer as the Fever prepare for their playoff run.

This season, Hull averaged 5.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 0.6 steals. Notably, in August, she achieved a career-high 22-point performance and scored in double digits in four of six games.

If she can maintain this level of performance in the postseason and knock down some crucial 3-pointers, it will be vital for the Fever’s success against a Connecticut Sun team rich in experience. Hull’s ability to contribute offensively could make all the difference in a tightly contested series.
