Thiago Motta is NOT messing around this summer
Juventus are said to have informed eight first-team players that they are no longer wanted at the club.
The Italian giants finished third in Serie A last season some 23 points behind eventual league leaders Inter.
Thiago Motta has replaced Massimiliano Allegri at the helm and it is clear the Italian coach is wasting no time.
According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, Motta and his team have told eight members of his squad they are free to leave Turin this summer.
Federico Chiesa is the most high-profile name and has in the past been linked with a move to the Premier League.
Wojciech Szczesny, Weston McKennie, Mattia De Sciglio, Arthur Melo, Filip Kostic, Hans Nicolussi-Caviglia and Daniele Rugani are the other seven names listed in the report.

“We are convinced this is the best decision possible”, Thiago Motta said when quizzed on his bold call.
“Yes, Chiesa’s absence is related to the market.
“This is both for Federico and for the others who remained in Turin, with the exception of Miretti who is injured.
“We made it clear after speaking with all the lads. We have strong players, accustomed to continuity.
“At this moment the club is looking for solutions elsewhere, they must find them as soon as possible for everyone’s sake.
“We are also convinced that we are preparing well for the season.
“I reiterate what I said and I will not add anything else on this matter.”
The new Juventus boss has sanctioned some arrival already this summer, with Douglas Luiz arrival the most high-profile of them all, with the Brazilian making the switch from Aston Villa.
Khephren Thuram was brought in from Nice too, as the Italian side once again attempt to topple Inter Milan’s success over recent years.
The Old Lady begin their Serie A campaign on August 19 with a mouthwatering home clash against newly-promoted side Como.
