Taylor Swift’s security guard has returned home to Israel to fight Hamas terrorists – three months after going viral for his perfect protection of the singer at her Eras Tour concert.
The unnamed guard, who was reportedly a member of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) before coming to the USA, flew back to the Middle East as he ‘couldn’t stand by while families were slaughtered and burned alive in their homes’ reports Eran Swissa of news site Israel Hayom.
The guard also urges others to ‘not stand by and do nothing. Don’t be on the wrong side of history.
‘It would be an insult to animals around the world to call these terrorists ‘animals.’
The bodyguard received universal praise for a TikTok video which showed him escorting Swift away from the stage after one of her concerts, while carefully and quickly scanning the crowds for any danger.
One fan typed: ‘He scanned a thousand people in the crowd in six seconds, six seconds flat. Whatever Taylor Swift’s paying him, it’s not enough.’
Swift was recently slammed by ‘disappointed fans’ for ‘shameless self-promotion’ at the blockbuster Eras Tour film premiere last week after staying silent on the Israel terror attacks that have killed thousands.
‘Terrible timing. Kids are getting raped. Innocent people are dying on both sides. Hamas!! A terrorist organization is slaughtering Israelis…but it’s “launch day”???’ fumed Jewish New York City jeweler Nicole Rose.
‘Echo every word. Really surprised at Taylor Swift,’ Meghan McCain added.
‘Shocked. Mum was the word and then self promo during a time like this when she has SO MANY ISRAELI AND JEWISH FANS. Ugh the disappointment is real,’ Amanda Hirsch, the influencer behind the Not Skinny But Not Fat Instagram account, chimed in.
For days, others have been calling on Swift to use her platform of 274million followers to comment on the crisis or publicize resources.
She has stayed silent.
Swift’s film documents one of the six sold-out shows Swift performed at the SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California over the summer as part of her ongoing Eras Tour, which kicked off in March and serves as a retrospective of her 17-year career.
Israel launched retaliatory strikes against Hamas after the militant group launched a series of attacks nine days ago which killed more than 1,000 people, in the biggest escalation in the region in decades.
Hamas militants crossed into Israel from the Gaza Strip, seizing settlements and capturing and murdering civilians celebrating a Jewish holiday.
A music festival attended was one of the first sites to be attacked by the terrorist group, with 260 revelers massacred there.
Survivors described how the gunmen went ‘tree by tree’ executing victims and posted clips of the ordeal to social media, showing how they were forced to hide under bushes and record hushed farewell messages to their loved ones as they watched victims get killed one by one.
Many lay still in sheer terror for more than five hours before they heard the sound of armed rescuers speaking in Hebrew.
