Jason Kelce’s ‘Philly Specials’ group has shot to success, but his brother Travis’ girlfriend, Taylor Swift, is standing in his way of notching a No. 1 album.

Comprising of Kelce and Eagles teammates Lane Johnson and Jordan Mailata, the ‘Specials” Christmas album has received plenty of love, and even had a song shoot to the top of the iTunes charts.

But the group came up just short of scoring a No. 1 album on Billboard’s Vinyl Albums chart- with none other than Swift in the top spot.

According to Forbes, Swift’s 1989 (Taylor’s Version) has held the No. spot for a sixth consecutive week.

Meanwhile, the ‘Specials’ have slotted in at second and third respectively, with ‘A Philly Special Christmas Special (The Deluxe Album 2022 & 2023)’ at runner-up.

Their 2023-specific project, ‘A Philly Special Christmas Special’, comes in at No. 3.

Last month, ‘Fairytale of Philadelphia,’ which is one of 11 tracks on the project, shot to No. 1 on the iTunes charts just a day after it was released.

Aside from the Kelce brothers and Jason’s teammates, the album also features legendary singer Patti LaBelle and Eagles GM Howie Roseman.

Taylor and Travis’ relationship has been going from strength to strength, with reports suggesting they could now be moving onto the next step of their romance.

Page Six said that Kelce has asked Swift’s father Scott for permission to ask the popstar to marry him.

A source close to Kelce told the site: ‘Scott has been asked for his blessing and has wholeheartedly given it, and Travis has been talking to friends about a ring.’

It’s not clear if Swift will be in New England this weekend for Travis’ game against the Patriots.

She has attended six of his games since the start of the season in September.
