When rumors first started to swirl that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were an item, many people were left stunned over the pairing since they seemed to come from two very different worlds.

But now fans of the couple have discovered a series of shocking coincidences that link the pop star, 33, to the football pro, 34, years before they even met.

From the two stars using the exact same gestures to suspicious references in lyrics to songs that Taylor released a long time ago, Swifties have compiled a list of clues that hint the pair may have been destined to be together from the start.

One TikTok user pointed out that during Taylor’s performance of The Archer throughout her Eras Tour, she uses her arms to make it look like she’s shooting off a fake bow and arrow – and Travis does a similar move whenever he scores a touchdown.

The singer’s motions are nearly identical to the athlete’s, and many people on the web are stunned over the affinity.

Someone else noticed an odd connection between one of Taylor’s dancers, Kam Saunders, and the Kansas City Chiefs star.

It turns out, Kam’s brother Khalen used to be on Travis’ team – and the two played side by side for years before he was transferred to the New Orleans Saints.

‘Why is no one talking about how Taylor’s dancer Kam Saunders is brother to Khalen Saunders, who [used to] play with Travis Kelce?’ one fan tweeted on Monday.

The post got more than four million views and sparked thousands of retweets and replies from people, who believed they had figured out how the couple crossed paths in the first place.

‘How much you wanna bet this is how she got Travis’ number,’ one fan theorized.

‘Oh my gosh, I wonder if somehow Travis got a good word in with Kam who then told Taylor,’ someone else wrote.

‘The plot thickens,’ a third tweet read. A fourth said: ‘WAIT A MINUTE.’

A different user added, ‘Isn’t it just so pretty to think, all along there was some invisible string tying you to me,’ quoting the lyrics to Taylor’s song Invisible String, which is all about being connected to your partner long before you meet.

Other social media users have wondered if some of the lines from Taylor’s old songs foreshadowed her romance with Travis.

In the track Cornelia Street off of her 2019 album Lover, she sings, ‘As if the streetlights pointed in an arrowhead, leading us home,’ and the Kansas City Chiefs famously play at Arrowhead Stadium.

And in the 2006 tune Mary’s Song (Oh My My My) from her debut album – which came out over a decade before she even met Travis – she mentions the numbers 87 and 89.

One Twitter user reminded everyone that Travis’ jersey number is 87 and Taylor has an album called 1989, which is also the year she was born.

In addition, in the music video for her 2008 hit You Belong With Me, Taylor is seen cheering on a footballer who she has a crush on. The athlete is played by Lucas Till, who went on to portray a character named Travis in the Hannah Montana movie.

Swifites have also gone wild over the fact that Travis shares a birthday with Taylor’s late grandmother, Marjorie Finlay, who has been the inspiration for numerous songs written by the hitmaker.

Taylor and Travis first sparked dating rumors in early September when a source told The Messenger that they had been ‘quietly hanging out.’

Weeks earlier, the two-time Super Bowl winner admitted on his podcast, New Heights, that he had tried – and failed – to make a move on the Cruel Summer songstress at one of her shows in Kansas City back in July.

He said he had his phone number inscribed on a bracelet, which he planned to present to the pop star – but unfortunately, he was not able to get it to her.

‘She doesn’t meet anybody – or at least she didn’t want to meet me,’ he said. ‘I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings, but I was a little butthurt I didn’t get to hand her one of the bracelets I’ve made for her.’

Days after rumors speculation started to swirl that they were an item, Travis revealed that he had invited Taylor to come see his team play during an appearance on Pat McAfee’s show.

‘It’s life, baby. I threw it out there, I threw the ball in her court,’ the sports star dished. ‘I said, “I’ve seen you rock the stage in Arrowhead [stadium], you might have to come see me rock the stage in Arrowhead, and see which one’s a little more lit.” We’ll see what happens in the near future.’

The singer accepted his invitation and was spotted cheering him on – and even cozying up to his mom, Donna – in the VIP suite at the team’s game against the Chicago Bears days later.

The two stars were then caught leaving the sporting event together in his vintage convertible.

They headed to a private party at Prime Social, where Taylor was pictured wrapping her arms around the footballer.

The blonde beauty was also seen in the audience of her new beau’s match against the New York Jets a few days later, and again at the Chiefs’ showdown with the Denver Broncos in early October.

Since then, the couple has been spotted on numerous date nights in New York City, and they were even caught holding hands and packing on the PDA over the weekend.
