IT seems the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce hype train has run its course.

After 42 days as the face of the NFL, pop sensation Swift has been replaced as the face of the league’s X – formerly known as Twitter – page.

Potential NFL Comeback Player of the Year candidate, quarterback Joshua Dobbs, has taken over the prestigious position from Swift.

A shot of the Minnesota Vikings star drinking Gatorade on the sideline has been added, along with a new bio that reads: “In Dobbs we trust.”

This follows a remarkable run of form from the 28-year-old who was only traded to his fifth different team in two years on October 31.

Just five days later, Dobbs was thrust into the lineup after Jarren Hall suffered a concussion against the Atlanta Falcons.

And while he may not have known all of his teammates’ names or have played with the starters at any point, as per USA Today, he led them to a 31-28 win.

The following week Dobbs enjoyed a career game as they beat the New Orleans Saints 27-19.

Across those games, the former fourth-round pick out of Tennessee has thrown for 426 yards, three touchdowns, and no interceptions.

Dobbs’ takeover of the NFL’s page follows over a month with Swift, 33, front and center.

A shot of her in a suite at MetLife Stadium had been added after she watched Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs defeat the New York Jets 23-20 alongside the likes of Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, and Hugh Jackman.

This came a week after Swift and Kelce’s budding romance became the talk of the league after she turned up to watch him play at Arrowhead Stadium during their 41-10 win over the Chicago Bears.

The Swift coverage by the NFL became so consistent that some viewers and broadcasters alike were left complaining that it had been overdone.

But despite the fandom surrounding their blossoming romance, it seems the smitten couple have gone from strength to strength in the weeks since.

A source told The US Sun that Kelce, 34, sends Swift differing varieties of flowers “multiple times a week,” along with “cute notes, cards, and heart-shaped chocolates, to give her more sweetness in her life when they are not together.”

During a recent concert in Buenos Aires, Argentina, Swift changed the lyrics to her hit Karma as a tribute to her new partner.

Originally, the lyrics were: “Karma is the guy on the screen coming straight home to me.”

But on this occasion, she sang: “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs coming straight home to me.”

The two subsequently shared their first public kiss as she made her way off the stage, to a rapturous reaction from her fans.
