But I can reveal 2024 could finally see Miley Cyrus return to the stage after she restarted talks for her debut Las Vegas residency.

Bosses at MSG who own futuristic venue The Sphere, are said to be doing all they can to tempt the We Can’t Stop singer to the Mojave desert city.

They are keen to bag a star to take over when U2 wrap their shows in a few months after being left with £1billion debt amid escalating costs and paying a reported 800k per show for the Irish rockers.

A source said: “Miley has been in talks about making her Sin City debut for quite some time.

“She initially declined an offer from MSG but while she hates life on the road, she still loves being on stage.

“Talks resumed recently after a higher offer was put on the table.

“One of the problems bosses have is that because they paid so much for U2, other artists have taken notice and are digging their heels in when it comes to their fees.”

It means she is unlikely to come back to the UK, having not done a full series of dates here since her 2014 Bangerz Tour.

Miley left fans gutted in May after revealing she doesn’t intend to ever tour again.
