Jason Kelce’s wife, Kylie, has hit back at dad-shamers who suggested that the Eagles  center was ‘playing fetch’ with two of his daughters in a heartwarming clip shared on social media.

Kylie took to Instagram on Thursday to call out those who tried to cast her husband in a bad light after the NFL Network had initially shared a cute video of the 35-year-old playing with his girls, Wyatt, 3, and Elliotte, 2, at Eagles training camp, two days earlier.

The mother of three, who welcomed the couple’s third daughter, Bennet Llewellyn, in February, reposted the footage, and wrote: ‘People in these comments saying ”He’s playing fetch with his kids like they are dogs!”

‘Just say you don’t have toddlers. If you listen, you can hear him counting. So technically they are racing.’

Kylie also shared a GIF of a ‘silly goose’.

Some users accused Kelce of making his daughters chase and retrieve a football that he'd throw far away

Kelce has a habit of staying late after practice to spend some quality time with his two eldest daughters, according to the caption of the video shared by the NFL Network.

The words ‘Best. Dad. Ever,’ were also displayed in the clip, which showed the 2018 Super Bowl champion laying on the field while throwing a football for his daughters to chase.

Kelce, who considered retiring in the offseason after losing to his brother and Chiefs tight-end, Travis, in Super Bowl LVI, was honored by his wife, Kylie, last Tuesday as the veteran vowed to keep playing. The six-time Prow Bowl selectee will enter his 13th NFL season with the Eagles in September.

‘This off-season proved yet again how your drive and work ethic are absolutely remarkable,’ Kylie wrote as caption of a family picture on a beach that’s shared on Instagram. ‘We can’t wait to see the results of that this season.

‘As always, your ladies will be cheering you on every step of the way!’

Kelce shared his decision to extend his playing days by just another year in March in an announcement made on Instagram following speculation that he was considering to call it quits.

‘I have put much thought whether it makes sense to play another season,’ he wrote on Twitter. ‘After talking it over with my wife and many other friends and family, I have decided to return for another year.

‘Thank you to all my supports and detractors for fueling me, I ain’t f***ing done yet!’

Kelce has spent his entire career in Philadelphia after being drafted by the Eagles in 2011 and earned five first-team All-Pro nods. He and his wife have been married since April 2018.
