A Waterford artist says creating the cover art for rap superstar Lil Nas X’s latest single has been “mind-blowing”.

Aaron Fahy created the crayon-inspired design for the Grammy award-winning artist’s new track ‘Where Do We Go Now’.

Aaron said it depicts Lil Nas X standing in a green field, dressed in white and holding hands with his younger self.

His latest song – described as ‘music to match your depression’ – was written for his new HBO documentary ‘Lil Nas X: Long Live Montero’.

In a post on Instagram, Aaron shared his delight over the reaction to the artwork.

“It still feels really surreal now that it’s out, I made it in my bedroom in Ireland and it’s being seen all over the world which is mind-blowing,” he said.
