Miley Cyrus has tweeted about ‘Wrecking Ball’ talking about how it feels like a lifetime and how her concept of time can seem out of line.

The songwriter appreciated her fans for the support they gave during the time of the song’s release, and she further expressed her gratitude and inspiration for the love shown to her now.

The famous singer reflected on the hit song “Wrecking Ball” as it marked its 7 year anniversary and has had over a billion views, following the rapid change from the Disney teenage star we use to know.

Speaking about her career, Miley admitted her patience in dealing with her heartbreaks led her to write the song. She also talked about how the song was her experience at the time when she said:

“Again, it wasn’t a song that got sent to me on a demo and I just go ‘Cut it.’ I was living it publicly.”

In 2013, the music star talked about how the music had more depth than the nudity being portrayed and talked about how performing the song was an emotional experience.

During that time, the famous singer also made a sexually suggestive appearance on MTV VMA, which got everyone talking at the time.

Although, her anticipated appearance on VMAs, where she will sing her latest song “Midnight Sky,” is expected to less controversial.

The lyrics of the song “Midnight sky” explained why the singer broke up with ‘Liam Hemsworth’. It describes the effect that the relationship and the divorce had on her. It also showed how she dealt with the stigma and how it is different, especially for women.

In October 2019, the pop star started dating Cody Simpson and they split less than a year together. Although the reason for their split is still unclear, Miley has been her cheerful self since and was even spotted outside smiling.
