On Monday, Miley Cyrus flaunted her summer figure while advertising her upcoming album through her Instagram profile.
In a few weeks, Miley will release her upcoming studio album called Endless Summer Vacation. The 30-year-old singer was seen wearing a red bandeau bikini top and bottom, showing off her toned abs as she stretched her arms towards the wall while crouching on the floor.
Her blonde wavy hair fell towards the ground as she tilted her head to look at the wooden wall. Miley captioned her post with lyrics from one of her songs, “I’m driving around town in a beat-up old Mercedes, you think I’m crazy. You might be right.”
Miley Cyrus has made it clear to her fans that she is promoting her new album with the hashtags, ‘EndlessSummerVacation’ and ‘March10.’ The singer’s latest track from her album, Flowers, has been a huge success since its release. It broke Spotify’s One-Week Streaming Record last month, amassing over 96 million streams on the platform alone between January 13 and January 19. This single is reportedly about how Miley is coping after her separation from Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, which was also released on his birthday.
In its debut week, Flowers reached the top of Billboard Hot 100 songs, following Taylor Swift’s Anti-Hero after an eight-week reign at number one. The former Disney star sold around 70,000 copies of the track in its first full week, and the numbers continue to grow. It has been nine years since Miley’s last Hot 100 No.1 with Wrecking Ball in September 2013.
In the month of January, the popular singer released a music video for her new single Flowers, which was quite bold and daring. The lyrics of the pop song hinted towards her unsuccessful relationship with an actor as she used a double entendre that referred to Miley observing her marriage and shared house in Malibu burning to the ground. It was in November 2018 when their house was destroyed because of the devastating Woolsey Fire.
Although they got married only a month later, their marriage fell apart in August 2019, less than a year after getting hitched. The couple had dated on and off for almost ten years, having initially met on the set of their movie “The Last Song” back in 2010 when Miley was 17, and Liam was 19.
Nevertheless, Miley has now become a symbol of self-love, highlighting her ability to buy herself flowers, engage in long conversations with herself, and enjoy dancing alone. In the video, she starts by showing the Los Angeles skyline at sunset and appears in a stunning, glittery gold dress that has a cut-out at her stomach.
Her white-blonde hair is not visible, and her designer shades cover her eyes while she walks around confidently. She then transforms from a sorrowful mood to a cheerful one, removing her hood and tying her hair up while strutting across LA’s Runyon Canyon in high heels for the rest of the chorus. Her powerful words continue to echo in the song, reminding listeners that she can love herself better than anyone else can.
Miley walks up a smooth path, full of energy, before the video switches to her backyard at her spacious Studio City residence. She removes her designer attire and proceeds to dance on the grass in black lingerie while sprinklers spray water on her. The Plastic Hearts star executes an impressive dive into her resort-style pool and swims to the shallow end.
She then presents her toned figure on the pool’s edge, giving fans a close look at her lacy undergarments. Miley’s drenched locks are brushed off her face, and she sensually touches her body during the song’s second verse: “Paint my nails, cherry red/Match the roses that you left/No remorse, no regret/I forget every word you said.” The chorus cuts in with scenes of Miley still donning her black two-piece, exhibiting her intense workout routine, including battle rope exercises, resistance training, and suggestive hip thrusts. The following scene depicts Miley in a steamy shower, revealing her backside as she raises her arms and closes her eyes, letting the water rain down on her.
Miley appears in a white robe with her hair up in a towel as she searches through her closet with force. She decides to go topless under an oversized black blazer, paired with matching trousers and sandals. Miley walks through a hallway before dancing in several rooms, including a living area with a beautiful piano surrounded by floor-to-ceiling windows.
The video continues with Miley dancing as the night falls, and the backyard is illuminated by blue and purple mood lights. She teases viewers by slowly letting her blazer slip off her shoulders. The video ends with Miley breathing heavily, hands on her hips, gazing directly into the camera. “Flowers” is the lead single from Miley’s upcoming album, Endless Summer Vacation.
