Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce will hope for a more relaxed Super Bowl this time around after an interesting start to the 2020 version.

Kelce was on hand to support brother, Travis, as the Chiefs won their first Lombardi of the Andy Reid era against the San Francisco 49ers 31-20 in Miami.

With his young daughter Wyatt less than a year old, the elder Kelce figured he did not need a ticket for his baby but soon found out otherwise and had to think outside the box.

‘We went to your Super Bowl in Miami and Wyatt was six months old, and whenever you go to another NFL game, a child two and under, doesn’t need a ticket,’ he said to Travis on their New Heights podcast.

‘And we found out the hard way that at the Super Bowl everybody with a heartbeat needs a ticket.

‘We were standing at the gate with Wyatt like – ahhh! And it’s not like you can just hop on an Uber out of the Super Bowl. Once you’re in that line, there’s not much you can do.

‘Luckily I had Big Dom’s number, the head security with the Eagles, he got me in contact with Lenny, the NFL security guy helping out there… and Lenny was kind enough to get Wyatt into the game. So, Wyatt Kelce might be the first person ever in a Super Bowl without a ticket.

‘She got smuggled in,’ Travis said.

‘They smuggled Wyatt into the game. She’s a legendary baby.’

Ahead of this Super Bowl, Jason and the wider NFL know the rules very clearly.

‘So now when they announced that everyone needs tickets this year, they said, “everyone with a heartbeat needs a ticket.”

‘Wyatt changed the Super Bowl forever. She’s made her mark. The Kelce Bowl is a real thing.’

Kelce may have another child at the Super Bowl, with his wife, Kylie, 38 weeks pregnant.

Her OB-GYN has been brought to the desert and will be a guest at State Farm Stadium in case she goes into labor.
