Shawn Levy has finally answered one of the biggest questions that the fans had in their minds about the upcoming Deadpool 3
Deadpool 3 is the next big thing in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and people cannot wait anymore for its release. With Hugh Jackman reprising his role of Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool, the third part of the franchise is probably one of the most hyped movies of all time.
In a recent interview, director Shawn Levy talked about the jump from the Fox universe to the MCU. Assuring fans of the implications of Deadpool 3, Levy stated that he does know what he is doing and the film is “very much part of the MCU”.

Deadpool 3 Is Very Much A Part of The MCU!
With Disney acquiring every franchise like Thanos finding all the Infinity Stones, Fox Studios and Marvel Studios are now both under the authority of Disney. This allowed the MCU to include more characters in the mix that were once held by Fox Studios!
With Deadpool being a part of Fox Studios, there was chaos and doubt regarding whether Wolverine and Wade Wilson would jump from the Fox Verse to the MCU in Deadpool 3 or are the people going to pretend that nothing happened? Sitting alongside Josh Horowitz on the Happy Sad Confused podcast, director Shawn Levy clarified the mess once and for all.
“I’m so wary of giving anything away because I’ve learned the hard way that even with a few titles – like any Marvel title – everything and anything you say can lead to not only rumors but misinformation. I’ll just say this: It’s very much part of the MCU, what a privilege, what a wealth of resources and knowledge.”
The director further revealed that the upcoming movie will be a great one since he has had no resistance whatsoever as they are provided every resource they ask for with Hugh Jackman and Ryan Reynolds making waves of anticipation for the world!

The statement almost feels like a cliche with the amount of expectations that Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have set up for the world for Deadpool 3. Joining the actors, Shawn Levy further added fuel to the fire that the movie is exactly what they had set out to make from the beginning!
“The biggest thrill for Hugh, Ryan, and I is that we’re making very much the movie we hoped to make. One hears rumors all the time – good, bad, everywhere in between – about what certain studios are like to work at I’ll just say that this Deadpool movie co-starring Wolverine is very much aligned with the DNA of the Deadpool franchise and there’s been nothing but support in making the movie audacious, gritty, hilarious and gnarly.”
With Reynolds and Hugh Jackman jumping the threshold and moving into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, the world cannot wait for Deadpool 3 anymore. The MCU movie is currently set for a release date of 3rd May 2024 in theaters across the U.S.
