The MTV Video Music Awards may well be over, but the party was just getting started for Cardi B as she followed her appearance at the ceremony with a late night out in New York on Wednesday.
The rapper left little to the imagination while exiting her Manhattan hotel at the somewhat questionable hour of 3:30am as she prepared to party further.
Mother-of-two Cardi, 30, opted for a raunchy fishnet minidress with chained embellishments and a form-fitting detail that accentuated her voluptuous physique ahead of her latest appearance in the city.
The sheer outfit ensured she commanded attention while making her way towards a waiting car with an accompanying security guard.
The outing comes after she commanded attention on the red carpet at the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards on Tuesday evening.
The Bronx-bred rapper — who just released her second collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion — wore a strapless Dilara Findikoglu metallic gown created with hundreds of silver hair clips.
The look showed off the music artist’s ample cleavage and also had matching forearm cuffs.
Cardi, born Belcalis Almánzar, appeared without a flaw as she showed off immaculately applied makeup.
The mother-of-two looked stunning in a face of matte cosmetics that included black eyeliner.
Long, fanned out lashes were placed at the outer corners of her brown eyes and she wore nude lipstick on her pout with brown liner.
Matching her dress was a set of lengthy, square-shaped nails coated in gunmetal silver polish.
There to support her as she takes the stage to perform Bongos for the first time was her husband, rapper Offset, with whom she shared a kiss on the red carpet.
While her star remains ever on the rise, the raven-haired beauty recently praised her fellow female rap artists in signature Cardi B fashion during an interview on Audacity Check In.
The business mogul said, ‘It’s not that I’m a ‘girl’s girl’ – I’m just a girl. I’m clearly going to gravitate more to girl’s music,’ she explained when asked why she liked collaborating with other female rap artists.
She added that, ‘So when I do a song with these girls it’s because I really like y’all’s song. If I like your music and I like your sound, let’s do something together.’
Cardi added that she appreciated that none of her fellow female rap artists at the moment sound like each other — ‘That’s the good thing about it.’
