FRISCO – In the standings and on the scoreboard, things seem to be falling apart for the Philadelphia Eagles after consecutive blowout losses. And in their psyches? 

After getting dominated by the San Francisco 49ers in Week 13 and then by the Dallas Cowboys in Sunday night’s 33-13 outcome that vaults Dallas into first place in the NFC East, their psyches might be falling apart as well.

“Look at our pass routes compared to the Cowboys pass routes,” JAKIB Sports host Derrick Gunn reports that an anonymous Eagles player told him. “Our pass routes take too long to develop. Dallas gets their (stuff) out real quick.”

Of course, it damaged the Eagles’ cause when the Dallas defense forces three fumbles. fumbles halted any momentum. And maybe San Francisco and Dallas are simply better than they are … which might not be an issue as the Eagles try to build on their 10-3 record in the final four weeks of the regular season by facing the Seattle Seahawks (who have lost four straight games), the New York Giants, the Arizona Cardinals and then the Giants again.

Luckily for the Eagles, a brutal schedule finally lightens up over the final four weeks. They would still hold a division tiebreaker over the Cowboys if they win all of those games.
