‘Dirty Disgrace!’ Philadelphia Eagles’ Jason Kelce Calls Out Enemy Lineman from Buffalo Bills

The Philadelphia Eagles are set to take on the San Francisco 49ers in what could be the Game of the Week” in the NFL on Sunday afternoon, and for that reason, Jason Kelce have every reason to turn the page.

But something is still sticking in the craw of the veteran Pro Bowl center, and maybe in demanding a review of last week, the Eagles can actually be helped this week.

Last Sunday, the Eagles and the Buffalo Bills were the NFL’s marquee matchup, with Philly ended up topping Buffalo in overtime in a thriller.

But over the course of that game, the Eagles offensive line – famous now of course for its muscular “Tush Push” – found itself victimized by what Kelce is calling a “dirty” and “disgraceful” ploy.

Kelce believes Bills defense lineman Jordan Phillips crossed the line in intentionally trying to injury Eagles teammate Cam Jurgens.

“I thought it was (bleep) at the time. I really did. I said so to the official on the field,” Kelce said.

Eagles’ ‘Tush Push’ Ban Planned by Goodell?

Kelce continued: “I said, ‘I’ve been running that play a lot of years. I’ve seen people jump offsides. (Phillips) made zero effort to stop after he jumped offsides. He purposely tried to hurt Cam Jurgens. I thought it should have been a personal foul, and I think he should be fined for that play.”

Here is the play in question …

Said Kelce: “I thought that play in particular was absolutely a disgrace that the NFL should not allow.”

The NFL has apparently ruled on the play and has not handed down a fine to Phillips.

Now, how does this all translate to this “game of the year”? Philadelphia and San Francisco are set to play on Sunday afternoon, and Kelce – smart enough to be looking for any edge – has just put this week’s officials on alert when it comes to this kind of play.
