Chris Hemsworth has sent temperatures soaring.

On Wednesday, the Thor star, 40, gave fans a treat when he bared his god-like physique during a chilly bonding session with personal trainer Luke Zocchi.

In the Instagram video, the Aussie heartthrob is seen showing off his famous muscles in a sauna, before taking the plunge in a rustic wooden tub filled with ice alongside Luke.

Chris’ muscular display was all in the name of education.

‘No better way to finish a workout,’ he began in the caption.

‘Combining a sauna with an ice bath is an effective way to improve circulation, reduce inflammation, speed up muscle recovery and elevate your mood,’ he continued.

‘The heat from the sauna causes blood vessels to dilate, which improves blood flow and reduces inflammation.’

Detailing the benefits further, Chris explained, ‘The cold from the ice bath causes blood vessels to constrict, which improves circulation and reduces muscle soreness.

‘This contrast between hot and cold temperatures helps to improve overall recovery and reduce the risk of injury.’

The A-lister stays in phenomenal shape by sticking to a strict workout regimen and maintaining a high-calorie diet.

Hemsworth kicks it into high gear before a film, as his longtime stunt double, Bobby Holland Hanton, 37, recently attested to.

Chris pushed Bobby to the limit on the last film in the Thor franchise, giving his stunt double just eight weeks to bulk up for Thor: Love and Thunder.

In a recent interview with Ice36, Hanton described the grueling demands placed upon him, saying he told the star, ‘You’ve got to be kidding!’

Bobby had to pack on nearly 22 pounds of muscle and consume 4000 calories a day so he would transform into a convincing Thor.
