Sometimes, NFL fans can be a bit brutal when it comes down to pregame fashion. Athletes are often photographed before the game, with many donning a signature outfit for the day. Jason Kelce, however, hasn’t caught up yet.
Before the Philadelphia Eagles game against the Dallas Cowboys, Kelce stepped out. He wore a green t-shirt, blue pants, and black flip flops, which is probably a stark contrast to other designer brands people opt for.
Naturally, fans turned to roast Kelce for his outfit.
But the Philadelphia Eagles star doesn’t seem bothered. His focus is football, and he doesn’t understand why someone wants him to dress up. According to the 34-year-old, he doesn’t care about any game day fits.
“Jason’s game day fit is the same fit he wears every day. What the f*** do I care about a game day fit?” Kelce said on the ‘New Heights podcast.
“Some people go to play football, and some people play dress up. I don’t like to play dress up. I like to play football, alright?”
He added that he had no interest in shopping or color coordinating his outfits with matching belts and shoes.
Fans, of course, have varying opinions. While some did agree with Jason Kelce, many chose to poke fun over the outfit.
Many fans brought up images from Jason’s Super Bowl parade, trying to prove that the center does like to dress up. Of course, one cannot compare a parade to pregame clothes.
In fact, some even compared his casual attire to Alan Garner from the movie ‘Hangover’.
Some fans, of course, agreed with Kelce about not understanding more about pregame fashion.
Does Travis spend more on clothes than Jason Kelce?
While talking to his brother, Jason asked Travis about his game day fit and how the concept works out. Though the latter defended himself, Kelce was sure his brother never wore an outfit under $100.

Unlike his brother, Travis’ gameday outfits have often been loved by fans.
The brothers come together for their podcast, which often includes talks about the NFL and an assortment of other topics.
The brother duo recently spoke about the NFL’s most difficult position.
What’s the hardest job in the NFL? Maybe quarterback? Dude you gotta mirror somebody throughout the whole field like what’s harder than playing cover one? And just staying in somebody’s hip and you can’t give up a yard of seperation otherwise it’s a completion.
As per Kelce, the teams don’t even let white guys try for cornerback position anymore.
Either way, with the podcast a regular occurrence, one can only expect more fun conversations from the Travis and Jason Kelce.
