The Indiana Fever need to beat the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday or their postseason journey is over.

As the No. 3 seed, the Sun hold home-court advantage during the best-of-three playoff series against the sixth-seeded Fever. During Game 1, the Sun crushed the Fever, 93-69.

Should Indiana force a Game 3, the first-round series will move to Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indiana for the decisive game. Therefore, emotions were running high during the Fever’s possible elimination game on Wednesday.

While the Fever started strongly in Game 2, building an early nine-point lead, they trailed by the end of the first quarter. Clark, however, was clearly distracted by a fan sitting near the front row. After a brief chat with the referee, security arrived and escorted a man from his seat.

Speaking to ESPN’s Holly Rowe before the second quarter started, Clark was asked what happened with the fan. However, the rookie shrugged the incident off and didn’t reiterate what the fan said.

“Just stay focused on what’s on the floor and for the other teammates that are right here with me,” Clark answered.

According to the Indy Star’s Chloe Peterson, the fan returned to his seat after “a discussion with arena security.”
