Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce couldn’t keep a secret when it came to Taylor Swift.

The Kansas City Chiefs look to remain undefeated when they take on the New Orleans Saints on Monday Night Football. With Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ pool of receivers heavily banged up, tight end Travis Kelce is expected to have another big game.

After three quiet weeks, Kelce registered seven receptions for 89 yards in Week 4. While Kelce’s girlfriend, Taylor Swift, attended Kansas City’s first two matchups of the season, she’s been noticeably absent over the past two weeks.

Fans were hoping to catch a glimpse of Swift at Kelce Car Jam on Oct. 5, a fundraiser the All-Pro hosted on his 35th birthday. While his parents, Donna and Ed Kelce, brother Jason Kelce, and sister-in-law Kylie Kelce came to the event in downtown Kansas City, the 14-time Grammy winner was nowhere to be seen.

While speaking to a fan at the charity event, however, Kelce revealed whether Swift will return to Kansas City to attend the Chiefs’ primetime Week 5 game.

“She will be not be here right now, but I know she’s coming in for the game,” Kelce said.

Security concerns could be a reason why Swift skipped the Kelce Car Jam block party in downtown Kansas City. After a terrorist threat forced the 34-year-old to cancel three of her “Eras” concert tour shows in August, security measures were likely elevated to keep the pop star and her fans safe.

A source told Page Six last week, “If she is going to a place that isn’t Arrowhead, there are security concerns. She has worked with Arrowhead so many times, they feel at ease and comfortable.”

The Chiefs face off against the Saints on Oct. 7 at 8:15 p.m. ET.
