The teenage striker was on fire for Arsenal last season.
Manchester United are reportedly looking to sign a talented Arsenal academy forward this summer.
Erik ten Hag has wasted no time in the transfer window this summer, already securing the signings of Leny Yoro and Joshua Zirkzee this month.
Manchester United confirmed the signing of Zirkzee on July 14, reportedly paying £35million for the Dutch forward.
Just five days later, the club signed 18-year-old French defender Yoro from Lille for a reported fee of £52.18m.
And it looks like Manchester United could make their third signing of the summer soon, as they are exploring a deal to sign impressive academy youngster Chido Obi-Martin.
The 16-year-old has played for the Arsenal academy, but his contract with his contract with the London club recently expired, leaving him free to negotiate with other clubs.
The Gunners were keen to keep Obi-Martin at the club, but after offering him a scholarship that they deemed a ‘fair offer’, the teenager decided he wanted to move on.
And, The Athletic has reported that United have held conversations with the teenager as they look to bolster their academy as well as their first team.
The Danish striker travelled to Carrington for the talks, which remain at an ‘early stage’, but is still considering offers from other top clubs interested in securing his signature, including local rivals Manchester City.
Obi-Martin joined Arsenal from Danish club KB in 2022 and has impressed during his time with the London academy.
He immediately made headlines last year after he scored an incredible ten goals in the Under 16s 14-3 victory over Liverpool.

His success at U16 level led to him being promoted to the Under-18s, where he continued to impress after scoring four goals against Crystal Palace and Fulham.
Later in the season, he scored five versus West Ham United and netted seven in a match against Norwich City.
Overall, he scored 29 goals in 17 matches for Arsenal’s under-18s.
Internationally, Obi-Martin played in Denmark’s 2024 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualification campaign, scoring two goals in the three group-stage matches.
