Shakur Stevenson is thankful to still be alive after the scary experience he went through when rapper Takeoff tragically lost his life.

Newly released footage from TMZ shows the boxer was right next to Takeoff when shots rang out at a Houston bowling alley.

Stevenson, in a blue hat, can be seen standing alongside Takeoff just moments before punches are thrown and then gun fire erupts outside 810 Billiards & Bowling around 2:30 a.m, killing the 28-year-old rapper.

Takeoff’s uncle, fellow Migos rapper, Quavo, was arguing with a guy in a white hat when things turned deadly.

Stevenson, who was not physically injured in the incident, took to social media to write, “R.I.P Takeoff.”

The rising boxing star was at the bowling alley reportedly celebrating Jas Prince’s birthday. Houston PD has asked witnesses to come forward to recount their side of the story. It’s unclear if police have been in contact with Stevenson or his camp.

Born Kirshnik Khari Ball, Takeoff has received nothing but an outpouring of love and support after his untimely demise.
