He discovered her involvement just before finalizing the movie, and his reaction was filled with excitement, suggesting that her presence might lead to a potential villainous role in the next installment.
“To be honest, I don’t really know,” Garelick told The Hollywood Reporter. “I saw her credit right before we locked the movie. I’m like, ‘Oh, wow! Charlize is — This is awesome.’ Maybe she’ll be a villain in the next one.”
