In the first two installments of the series, Megan Fox gained immense recognition among fans around the globe. Her iconic scene in the movie, where she was repairing a car was one of the memorable scenes from the series, adding to the success of the franchise. Despite contributing so much to the series’ popularity, Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay were not happy with Fox and got her fired from the franchise.

Steven Spielberg Forced Michael Bay To Sack Megan Fox From The Transformers Franchise

Michael Bay is an outstanding director, and he is for making action films with jaw-dropping action scenes, alluring visuals, and a fast-paced storyline to keep his audience at the edge of their scenes.

The visionary director was in charge of directing the first two Transformers movies which were smash hits at the Box Office as the first film collected $709 million and the second film collected a total of $836.3 million worldwide.

However, soon after the success of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen controversy bloomed as Megan Fox called Bay’s attitude similar to that of Adolf Hitler, and working for him became a nightmare for the actress.

“He wants to be like Hitler on his sets, and he is. So he’s a nightmare to work for. He has no social skills at all. He’s vulnerable and fragile in real life and then on set he’s a tyrant.”

As a result of her statement, Steven Spielberg allegedly urged the director to stop the actress from reprising her role in Transformers: Dark of the Moon by firing her from the franchise. During an interview, the Bumblebee director told how Megan Fox’s urge to get a response got her kicked from reprising her role.

“You know the Hitler thing. Steven Spielberg said, fire her right now. I wasn’t hurt, because I know that’s just Megan. Megan loves to get a response. And she does it in kind of the wrong way. I’m sorry Megan. I’m sorry I made you work twelve hours. I’m sorry that I’m making you show up on time. Movies are not always warm and fuzzy.”

While Steven Spielberg denied the allegations, the representatives of the actress gave a different perspective of the events, making the fans believe it was a mutual decision to leave.

Will Megan Fox Return to The Transformers Franchise?

After the controversy, the representatives of Megan Fox stated “It was her decision not return. She wishes the franchise the best.” She soon, appeared in the Box Office hit film Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, where she was reunited with Michael Bay, and they mended their relationship.

However, her return to the franchise is unlikely because in the third film, she was replaced by Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, but without a creative explanation the return of Fox’s character would affect the future of the franchise.

However, her return is possible because the present movies are not being directed by Michael Bay, and in the past movies there were reports of the actress being heavily linked to a return, but fans were disappointed to not see her. But fans can hope for her return to the series because the actress has not commented on not returning to the franchise, which keeps the hopes alive.
