British supermodel Kate Moss rose to her heyday and prominence after her collaboration with Hollywood A-lister actor Mark Wahlberg in a Calvin Klein advertisement. However, the model left with some pretty unpleasant memories after that.

The photoshoot was very disturbing to Moss as she could not get out of bed and had to seek the help of medical professionals. Following the 1992 Calvin Klein photoshoot with the actor, she found herself in a miserable place and recalled the incident as one of the darkest memories of her life.

The photoshoot was horrible for Kate Moss even fashion designer Calvin Klein admitted that the duo could not stand each other. “Oh, my god. He and Kate couldn’t stand each other,” Klein told Marc Jacobs in an interview.

The underwear advertisement helped the model gain wider prominence and fame in the fashion industry but the shoot was a nightmare for her.

Talking to Vanity Fair, the model revealed why she regretted doing the ad. “I had a nervous breakdown when I was 17 or 18, when I had to go and work with Marky Mark and Herb Ritts,” Moss told the magazine.
“It didn’t feel like me at all. I felt really bad about straddling this buff guy. I didn’t like it. I couldn’t get out of bed for two weeks. I thought I was going to die. I went to the doctor, and he said, ‘I’ll give you some Valium,’ and Francesca Sorrenti, thank God, said, ‘You’re not taking that.’ It was just anxiety.

Nobody takes care of you mentally. There’s a massive pressure to do what you have to do. I was really little, and I was going to work with Steven Meisel. It was just really weird—a stretch limo coming to pick you up from work. I didn’t like it. But it was work, and I had to do it.”

In the ad, Moss and Mark Wahlberg appeared topless, Moss wearing only Calvin Klein panties.  Moss was pressing against the topless actor who was partly showing his briefs under the baggy jeans.

Up until an interview with The Guardian, Mark Wahlberg was not aware of Moss’ Vanity Fair interview. It seems, he never had a problem in the shoot and Kate as he asked the interviewer, “I never really had a problem with Kate, did I?”

But Moss did, and the actor admitted that was a terrible mistake on his part. “I think I was probably a little rough around the edges. Kind of doing my thing,” Wahlberg said.
“I wasn’t very… worldly, let’s say that. But I’ve seen her and said hello. I think we saw each other at a concert here and there, we said hi and exchanged pleasantries.”
Further, the actor recalled his mistakes in the past saying, “I made a lot of terrible mistakes. And I paid for those mistakes dearly.”

It seems the Ted actor and Moss have ended the beef between them. Later in 2017, Moss also called Wahlberg “a nice guy” while talking to W magazine.

Currently, Wahlberg is set to appear in Mel Gibson-directed Lionsgate movie Flight Risk. As per early reports, Wahlberg will play a pilot transporting a dangerous criminal to an upcoming trial. However, not many of the details of the movie are yet to be revealed.
