Macaulay Culkin made the sweetest remarks about his fiancée as he joined Hollywood royalty as the latest actor to receive his Walk of Fame star.

On Friday (December 1), Culkin received the honor after a 40-year acting career. He is the 2,765th person to receive a star since the completion of the Walk of Fame in 1961 with the initial 1,558 stars.

While the actor received praise from some of his former co-workers, he gave the most heartfelt praise to his soon-to-be wife, Brenda Song.

A source told People that the pair had been dating for four years before they got engaged in January 2022.

Song seemed to be moved to tears as Culkin proclaimed his deep love for the mother of his two children.

“I want to thank Brenda, you are absolutely everything,” he said while holding back tears.

“You are my champion, you’re the only person happier for me today than I am.

“You’re not only the best woman I’ve ever known, you’re the best person I’ve ever known.

“You’ve given me just all my purpose, you’ve given me family and after the birth of our two boys, you’ve become one of my three favorite people.

“You are somewhere in there.”

Unable to finish his speech without at least one nod to the Christmas film that made him a household name, Culkin closed with an iconic line from Home Alone.

He continued: “I love you, I love you so much, to wrap things up, and in the spirit of the holiday season I just wanted to say Merry Christmas you filthy animals.”

Ahead of his own heartfelt message, Catherine O’Hara, who played Culkin’s mother in Home Alone and its sequel, reflected on working with the young actor in 1990 and what made the movie so special to millions.

Home Alone was, is and always will be a global sensation, the reason it is that, the reason families all over the world can’t let a year go by without watching and loving Home Alone together, is because of Macaulay Culkin,” she said.

“Yes he had an excellent script and a wonderful director but it is McCaulay’s perfect performance as Kevin McCallister that gave us that little everyboy on an extraordinary adventure.

“I know you worked really hard, but you made acting look like the most natural thing in the world to do.

“It really was as if we ambushed the home of this real little boy named Kevin to make a movie and he just went along with it for the fun of it.”

O’Hara also couldn’t seem to hold back tears as the trip down memory lane likely touched the hearts of everyone in the audience, including Culkin.
