Body doubles aren’t always used for action sequences and Liam Neeson’s body double came to his rescue when he was asked to do a scene that was way out of his comfort zone. The actor has done a great many number of movies and is renowned for being an action star. Although he hasn’t done much outside of some specific genres; his step into comedy was a successful one.

The actor stepped into comedy with Charlize Theron and he was willing to move ahead of his comfort zone for the film. It is not as common to see actors as dedicated to some genres choosing one of the exact opposite kind. However, Neeson did exactly that, but he had to make his body-double step in when things got a little out of hand for him.

Liam Neeson Let His Body Double Be Naked In Front Of Charlize Theron

Liam Neeson starred in A Million Ways to Die in the West with Charlize Theron and the movie was one which he dearly loved. Even though it wasn’t one of his best-performing movies, he enjoyed working on it a lot. One scene, in particular, had him stepping too far from his comfort zone. Although he had been going a lot out of his comfort zone, this one thing was not something he appreciated.

One scene required the actor to go butt-naked in front of Charlize Theron. Despite the actor agreeing to quite a lot of scenes he otherwise wouldn’t, partial nudity wasn’t one of them. He asked his body double to instead take his place and even bet their friendship on it. Nudity in comedy is quite normal, however, what is even more normal is big actors disagreeing with it.

Mila Kunis Had To Get A Body Double As Well

While working on Friends with Benefits alongside Justin Timberlake, Mila Kunis was asked to go butt-naked for a scene, much like Liam Neeson. However, the actress was far from comfortable in doing so and was instead on the lookout for someone who resembled her.

“These lovely women had to show us their derrieres and we chose the one that resembled my body the most without looking like it’s fake.”
She joked about how she would prefer showing parts of her body gradually than all at once. Therefore the actress got a body double for the scene. Timberlake was more than comfortable though, and was willing to appear on screen without any clothes.
