Actor Mark Wahlberg who made his way into the big-budget movies with The Perfect Storm, Planet of the Apes, The Italian Job, etc., managed to impress the audience with his acting. He is now known to be one of the most talented actors in the industry who became the leading actor in two live-action Transformers movies.

Mark Wahlberg talks about being pretty cool about his daughter’s dating life

At the Las Vegas premiere of his recent movie The Family Plan, Mark Wahlberg was asked about what guys can expect if they are dating one of his daughters. He said via Fox News,
“It depends. I’m usually pretty cool. I think after the first go-round with my oldest, I realized it is what it is. It’s inevitable.”
Further, the actor was asked if his children think that he’s cool since he is a star, to which he noted,

“I think we’re cool when it’s convenient, getting something done for them and meeting somebody they want to meet. But you know it’s fun for us, because we do live this kind of exciting life of pretend, making movies. We can go home and we’re just boring parents again.”

Mark shares daughters Ella, and Grace and sons Michael and Brendan with wife Rhea Durham. He shared that his kids tease him about his Marky Marky and the Funky Bunch days and are not a fan of his singing.

Jamie Foxx and Sylvester Stallone admit to being ‘too involved’ in their daughters’ dating life

Compared to Mark Wahlberg, actors Sylvester Stallone and Jamie Foxx had admitted that they are involved in their daughter’s dating life.

Stallone’s eldest daughters Sistine and Sophia shared on the Giggly Squad podcast,
“In one area, he writes most of our breakup texts. I highly suggest girls should go up to their dad and have their dad write a break up text because men know men. I’m telling you.”
The sisters continued,
“On the other hand, he’s very standoffish when we first bring men home and we rarely do. We’re like Oh this guy is a good egg. We’re gonna bring him home. And he’s always standoffish, stands in a corner, doesn’t say anything. We’re like ‘Dad come on but he literally stands in the corner just to intimidate.”

Talking about Jamie Foxx, his show Dad Stop Embarrassing Me for Netflix, was inspired by his relationship with his eldest daughter; Corinne Foxx. She shared on CBS This Morning: Saturday,
“He’s very charismatic and he’s you know, and entertainer. And that’s great when he’s an actor. But when he’s dad, that’s the last thing a teenage daughter wants her dad to be, which is over-the-top and drawing attention to himself.”
Jamie Foxx says that he just wants the guy his daughter dates to be right and meet his approval. Corinne also shared in an interview with People via The Things, that her father visited her boyfriend’s house trying to scare him to which Jamie Foxx explained that he went with his tough friends and they did the whole shotgun speech.

The incident was used as one of the plot lines on the show and the daughter revealed that her boyfriend in real life was so scared of Jamie Foxx that he ended their relationship.
