Whereas Moss (a relatively unknown teenage model at that time) was doing her first big designer campaign and was only wearing a pair of white cotton Calvin Klein panties.

Apart from the video ad, there were print ads and photos featuring Moss on Wahlberg’s lap. His hands were on her bottom. Although the campaign boosted Moss’s career, she later revealed feeling objectified and uncomfortable during the shoot. But The Italian Job actor didn’t have any idea about it.

At the time of the shoot and even years later, the actor appeared to be unaware of any tension. When Mark Wahlberg got to know about her feelings, he said in a Guardian interview, “I never really had a problem with Kate, did I?” The 52-years-old then acknowledged:
“I think I was probably a little rough around the edges … But I’ve seen her and said hello. I think we saw each other at a concert here and there, we said hi and exchanged pleasantries.”
It seems unusual to know Wahlberg’s thoughts on the situation. Looks like he remembers it but in a different way. But the fact can’t be changed that Moss indeed had a bad time.

In a 2012 interview, she told Vanity Fair that she “had a nervous breakdown” because she was only 17 or 18 when she had to go and work with Marky Mark and [photographer] Herb Ritts.

This came 30 years after Kate Moss talked about her experience on the BBC radio’s Desert Island Discs. She told in the podcast that her memories of that campaign weren’t all entirely positive.

When asked if she felt objectified, Moss responded, “Completely. And vulnerable. And scared. And I think they played on my vulnerability.” She also noted that her youth and innocence were likely seen as an advantage, “I was quite young and innocent; Calvin loved that.”

“It didn’t feel like me at all. I felt really bad about straddling this buff guy. I didn’t like it. I couldn’t get out of bed for two weeks. I thought I was going to die,” the British model recalled (via Vanity Fair).
