Charlize Theron and Keanu Reeves have already shared a screen when the duo starred opposite each other in Taylor Hackford-directed The Devil’s Advocate. They got reunited when the actress was training for the Atomic Blonde film meanwhile the latter was working to give more action thrilled performance in John Wick: Chapter 2.

Given that the duo was headlining their own thriller films, they work working hard to get ready for the action sequences that came along the way. Even her fighting style was more hands-on combat which dealt with elbow and knee strikes.

That fighting style made her battle sequences more realistic. While the duo was not training together all the time, they did get into friendly spars that would help them get more into shape.

The former even shared that her combat style even inspired Reeves to modify his training pattern for his second installment in the John Wick franchise.

“We had a lot of like, you know, smack talk. We did a lot of that.”
While the duo smeared each other in a friendly way, Theron also opened up about fantasizing to defeat the actor.
