Julia Roberts may have teased us that Armie Hammer would be stripping down as Prince Charming in their upcoming Snow White movie, Mirror Mirror.

While we didn’t think we’d be getting anything like full frontal (it is Snow White after all!)…

Hammer says he won’t be showing any skin.

“No nudity,” he said the other night at the AFI Fest presented by Audi premiere of J. Edgar. “She’s just very clever. She knows how to sell movies.”

If you didn’t know by now, Hammer is one of Hollywood’s hottest rising stars. He’ll next star in the title role of Gore Verbinski‘s big screen adaptation of The Lone Ranger with Johnny Depp as Tonto. Shooting begins in February.

“I have to work with Johnny. I guess I’ll suffer through that,” Hammer laughed. “I do chuckle every now and then from the fact that I am going from kissing Leonardo DiCaprio [in J. Edgar] to wearing assless chaps.”

The following night, J. Edgar was the featured film for the launch of the New York Times‘ TimesTalk series at LACMA.

DiCaprio said he prepped for the work with trips to Washington DC that included visits to the Hoover’s home and a tour of the Department of Justice from Attorney General Eric Holder.

He also met with Cartha “Deke” DeLoach, who worked with Hoover in the last decade of his life during his reign over the FBI.

“It was fantastic to pick his brain,” DiCaprio said.

DiCaprio learned that Hoover “liked dirty jokes…He liked dirty sexual jokes actually.”

The J. Edgar tour rolled on last night when director Clint Eastwood was honored at LACMA’s inaugural Art + Film Gala. Co-chaired by DiCaprio and museum trustee Eva Chow, guests included Hammer, Reese WitherspoonZac EfronJon HammJoe and Nick JonasKate HudsonRyan KwantenAmy AdamsDominic CooperOlivia WildeEvan Rachel Wood and Jack Black.
